Colour sampling using Windows

Photojunction uses the OS-standard colour picker tools on both Mac and Windows. Unfortunately, the colour picker tools that come with Windows are more limited than the ones that come with Mac OSX. Below are some options if you're using Windows.

Colour sampling using Windows

On Windows, we recommend doing the following:

1. Open the image in Photoshop or another image editor that can read RGB colour values.
2. Use the eyedropper tool to get the RGB value for the area of colour that you want to use.
3. In Photojunction, go to the colour picker and choose Define Custom Colors.
4. Enter the RGB value that you require, and then click on Add to Custom Colors.

Alternatively, there is also a free software program that was recommended by a client who had this issue. Here is the link to download it: http://www.iconico.com/colorpic/
